This year, the French-American Foundation will recognize the work of two journalists – one based in Europe, the other in North America for best immigration reporting. Award recipients will be invited to attend and speak at a ceremony on November 29, 2017 in New York, where their work will be celebrated in the presence of renowned media professionals. I guarantee that the journalistic work submitted for the Immigration Journalism Award has been published by a media organization in North America or Europe in 2016-2017.

If selected, I agree to attend and speak at an awards ceremony to receive the Award and if requested, I agree to coordinate with FAF to organize, and participate in, one or more seminars and/or “master classes” for journalists, journalism students and/or the general public.

I do not require any consent, permission or release from any third party in connection with submitting the work for the Award and, if selected, I do not need any such consent, permission or release with respect to any future use, distribution, reproduction, publication or dissemination of the work by FAF and its funders pursuant to the license described above (unless such consent, permission or release has already been obtained and provided to FAF).

I hereby attest that I have read and that I understand the information provided to me in the Terms and Conditions of the French-American Foundation’s Immigration Journalism Award.
